March 6, 2008 :: ZKS Names New Officers
The law firm of Zimmerman, Kiser & Sutcliffe, P.A. recently named Stephen B. Hatcher, Robert E. Mansbach, Jr. and Joanne M. Prescott to the positions of President, Treasurer and Secretary, respectively.
With Founder Wendell J. Kiser’s decision to step down from the position as president, the firm’s executive committee elected Mr. Hatcher to replace him. Mr. Hatcher has been with the firm since shortly after it’s inception in 1984 and focuses his practice in the areas of real estate transactions, business transactions and planning for taxable estates.
The chair of the firm’s litigation group, Robert E. Mansbach, Jr., was elected to the position of treasurer which he has held in past years. He is a Florida Bar Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer and handles matters in the areas of medical and legal malpractice, products liability, premises liability, personal injury defense and construction litigation.
Ms. Prescott, who has been practicing law with the firm for 11 years, was elected to the position of secretary. She practices in the areas of workers’ compensation and exclusively handles the firm’s work in the areas of federal employees’ compensation, maritime defense and special disability trust funds.
